The company, Pretty Green, will offer an “up-front, straight talking, classic clothing range” inspired by the singer's own style.

The label's initial range, which will include parkas, footwear and other accessories, goes on sale in June, although Pretty Green members will have access to an earlier pre-sale.

"Clothes and music are my passion,” Gallagher said in a statement.

“I'm not here to rip anyone off and I'm not doing it for the money either. I'm doing it cuz there's a lack of stuff out there of the things I would wear".
