U2 Score Tenth UK Number One AlbumMarch 9, 2009
U2 have topped the UK album chart with 'No Line On The Horizon', which becomes their tenth number one record.
The Irish group are now the third most successful chart act of all time along with The Rolling Stones and Madonna. Only Elvis Presley and The Beatles have enjoyed more chart success with fifteen and eleven number ones respectively. Elsewhere in the album chart, last week's number one The Prodigy fell one place to number two with 'Invaders Must Die'. Kings of Leon also fell to number three with 'Only By The Night'. The singles countdown was topped by Flo Rida with 'Right Round', while The Saturdays came in at number two with 'Just Can't Get Enough'.
