David Byrne 'Doesn't Need Money' For Talking Heads ReunionMarch 25, 2009
David Byrne has said he has no plans to reform with Talking Heads.
Various media reports over recent months have suggested the band, who split in 1991, could reunite for a world tour. But Byrne told The Metro: "I'm not keen and it's unlikely to happen. I don't need the money badly enough." Talking Heads last appeared on stage together when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. Byrne kicks of UK tour on Friday (March 27th) which will see him performs songs from his back catalogue that were recorded alongside Brian Eno.
