Chris Brown And Rihanna Duet 'Recorded Before Alleged Assault'March 16, 2009
US R&B singers Chris Brown and Rihanna haven't recorded together since they were both involved in an alleged altercation in Los Angeles in February.
US tabloid reports last week claimed the couple had recorded a duet alongside producer Polow Da Don in the weeks after the incident. But Laura Wright, La Don's publicist, told UsMagazine that the reports were “inaccurate”, adding that the duet was recorded “long before the incident”. The song, entitled 'Bad Girl', was record in 2008 and was originally scheduled to appear in the recent movie Confessions of a Shopaholic. It has since been recorded by the Pussycat Dolls. Meanwhile, a label source told People that “nothing has been recorded by Chris and Rihanna together since February”. Brown is currently facing an assault charge following the alleged altercation with Rihanna, which took place hours before the couple were due to appear at the Grammy Awards in February. The singer will find out next month whether he faces jail time over the incident. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Jessie J Wants Rihanna For 'Do It Like A Dude' Duet (26.04.2011)
