Kanye West And The Dream To Create 'Super-Album'

US R&B singer The Dream has said he wants to create an album with Kanye West which combines their backgrounds in R&B and hip-hop music.

The Dream said he believed the pair could “take the best of both worlds” and create something “we can sell to the consumers”.

Both musicians have been linked to a full studio effort since West's guest appearance on The Dream's new single, 'Walking On The Moon', emerged last month.

"Everybody is trying to talk us into it," The Dream told MTV. "It was first thought of by me. I was in Miami at the time, and I gave Kanye a call and said, 'The best thing would be for me and you to do an album.'

“I feel he's at a certain place in hip-hop, I'm at a certain place in R&B, and lyrically, I'm just in a certain place in my lifetime.”

He added: “Let's take the best of both worlds and put it on a CD and try to make something we can sell to the consumers.

“He says he's with it. We're gonna try to make it happen. I told him, 'Let me lift my profile up a little bit'."

The Dream said he believed the album “wouldn't take that long at all” to make once they had settled on the concept.
