'The Fame' has now spent a total of 48 weeks inside the top-10, according to the Official Charts Company.

Meanwhile, Boyzone's 'Brother' slipped to number two, while Justin Bieber's 'My World' was at number three.

Doves' retrospective, 'The Places Between: The Best Of Doves', was a new entry at number 11.

In the singles chart, Scouting For Girls held onto the top spot for a second week with 'This Ain't A Love Song'.

'OMG' by Usher featuring will.i.am was at number two, while Plan B's 'She Said' was a non-mover at number three.
