Amy Winehouse Told To 'Quit Drugs Or Die'June 18, 2008
Amy Winehouse has reportedly been told to “quit drugs now or die” by doctors at a hospital in London.
The singer is currently being observed at the London clinic in Marylebone after she fainted whilst “doing admin” at her home on Monday (June 16th). As previously reported, the singer was taken to hospital as a precaution by her father, Mitch. Yesterday it was revealed that initial test results had come back “inconclusive”. A report in today's Sun newspaper, claims that Winehouse was told that she was lucky to have “escaped this time”. "The only thing to stop that happening is if she quits drugs,” a source told the newspaper. Winehouse had just returned from signing autographs for a Canadian fan outside her Camden home when she was taken ill on Monday.
