Coldplay Comeback Gig 'Jeopardised' By Chris Martin InjuryJune 12, 2008
Chris Martin is struggling to be fit for Coldplay's comeback gig in London next week after injuring his knee, it's been claimed.
Martin apparently twisted his knee during rehearsals this week ahead of the band's show at the Brixton Academy on Monday (June 16th). Speaking to the Sun newspaper, a source said that Martin is in “absolute agony” but will “fight throw the pain barrier” for Coldplay's fans. The concert will promote the bands new album 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends', which is out today (June 12th). As previously reported, the band's fourth album is expected to break chart records, with pre-orders being placed at a rate of almost one copy per minute at some retailers.
