US rapper Eminem has said he’s “not ready” to return to the road – despite the imminent release of his new album. The rapper is due to release ‘Relapse’, his first studio album since 2004, later this year. 
Kevin Cogill, the man accused of leaking tracks purported to feature on Guns N' Roses new album, has pleaded not guilty to violating copyright law. The 27-year-old was arrested by the FBI in August after he posted nine songs – three of which were entirely new productions – on his blog, Antiquiet. 
Former Long Blondes singer Kate Jackson has unveiled plans to launch a solo career after the band's demise. Jackson, who wrote music for the group alongside guitarist Dorian Cox, said she had yet to settle on a direction for her material. 
Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has questioned how hard it is to write a theme tune for James Bond. In an interview with Sky News, Wilson attempted to write a theme – but admitted he was more interested in the band's new album 'Off With Their Heads'. 
A clip of Madonna performing one of the first songs she ever wrote has been published by her biographer. The recording of 'Born to be a Dancer' was made in New York by Ed Gilroy and his brother, Dan, a former boyfriend of the singer. 
Oasis refused to take their foot of the accelerator pedal as their UK tour called in Bournemouth last night (October 20th). The band showcased tracks from their new album 'Dig Out Your Soul' during a raucous show at the International Centre. 
US rapper Eminem has endorsed Barack Obama's bid to become America's first black president. The rapper spoke in favour of the Democratic candidate during an interview with the BBC. 
American Katy Perry has admitted that she kissed a girl when she was nineteen. But the singer said the experience hadn't inspired her smash hit, 'I Kissed A Girl', which topped charts around the world during the summer. 
Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford has revealed that the band have paused recording sessions for their new album. The group entered the studio last month to begin making the follow-up to 2004's 'Honkin' On Bobo'. 
Muse have made a live recording of their 2003 track 'Fury' available for fans online. The recording of the song, which was originally released as a b-side, was performed during the band's performance at the Royal Albert Hall earlier this year. 
Justin Timberlake has revealed his love for Leona Lewis in a recent interview the singer gave about his upcoming collaborations. "I'm going to go pimp myself to Leona Lewis, 'cause I think she's an amazing singer,” he exclaimed, but would not go into detail about who else he is possibly thinking about working with. 
US rapper Eminem has criticised the current state of rap music, saying he finds the majority of it “crap”. But the rapper, who is scheduled to release his new album 'Relapse' later this year, did find praise for a few acts. 
Scissor Sisters have announced via their official website on the parting of their drummer Paddy Boom. In a statement posted the band write, “We would like our fans and friends to know that we have amicably parted ways with the original drummer Paddy Boom. He will no longer be on stage with us but he will always be our sister.”
