Amy Winehouse 'Fined For Vomiting On Borrowed Clothes'September 25, 2008
Amy Winehouse has been accused of returning borrowed clothes that were apparently covered in vomit.
Clothing store Harvey Nichols is reported to have issued the singer with a £25,000 bill for a number of items, including a black dress. It's understood that the singer wore the borrowed items, which are apparently now “unwearable”, during a night out in London. “Unfortunately, while wearing one of the frocks, she went on an all-night bender,” a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “She ended up in the loos, where she was violently sick. Let’s just say it wasn’t pretty.” They added: “She eventually couriered them back on Monday, but didn’t wrap them separately. So sick had gone on all the clothes. “Even worse, green, furry mould had developed on some gowns, making them unwearable. It's claimed the singer has been blacklisted from borrowing any clothes from the store in the future. Recent reports claimed Winehouse was struggling to write material for her as-yet-untitled new album, which will be the follow-up to 2006's 'Back To Black'.
