Sigur Ros' Jonsi Announces Autumn UK Tour

Sigur Ros star Jonsi has announced details of a new UK tour, due to get under way in Bristol on September 1.

The jaunt will also see the singer perform in Glasgow (September 5), Manchester (6) and Birmingham (9).

Jonsi, who released debut solo album ‘Go’ earlier this month, is due to conclude the dates at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on November 26.

The shows are in addition to the singer’s previously announced gigs in London next month.

Tickets for the September dates go on sale on Friday (April 23) at 9am.

Jonsi’s UK tour dates are:

• Glasgow, Academy - 5
• Manchester, Academy - 6
• Leeds, Academy - 8
• Birmingham, Academy - 9
• Bournemouth, Academy - 13
• Brighton, Dome - 14
