Plan B Outselling Scouting For Girls, MGMT In Race To Top UK Album ChartApril 14, 2010
Plan B looks set to top the UK album chart with his new album, ‘The Defamation Of Strictland Banks’, midweek figures show.
The rapper-turned-singer’s second LP is outselling rivals Scouting For Girls’ ‘Everybody Wants To Be On TV’ and ‘Congratulations’ by MGMT. Lady Gaga is the current UK number one with ‘The Fame’. Meanwhile, in the midweek singles chart, Scouting For Girls are on course to retain the top spot with ‘This Ain’t A Love Song’. However, the London trio face close competition from Usher and Professor Green, according to the Official Charts Company. The Official UK Album and Singles charts are unveiled every Sunday at 7pm.
