Stereophonics Involved In Two Mile Canadian Police Chase

Stereophonics were chased by Canadian police for two miles after the driver of their tour ignored police calls to pull over.

The Welsh group were subjected to a three hour fingertip search by border officials on the American and Canadian border because their driver had parked illegally.

Frontman Kelly Jones, who was ordered off the bus along with the rest of his bandmates, described the ordeal as “aggressive border control”.

"One of the guards started talking about a guy who used to smuggle drugs through bands’ equipment," he told the Sun newspaper.

“I said: ‘Are you talking about Howard Marks? He’s my friend.’ You can imagine the rest.”
