Bloc Party's Kele Okereke Unveils New Solo Single Online

April 29, 2010
Bloc Party's Kele Okereke Unveils New Solo Single OnlineBloc Party frontman Kele Okereke has debuted his new solo single online.

The dance-inspired track, entitled ‘Tenderoni’, is currently streaming on the singer’s website - or can be heard now below.

It is the first song to be taken from Okereke's - who is performing under the name Kele - debut album 'The Boxer'.

The LP was recorded in London and New York alongside producer XXXchange.

Kele said: “The key for the sound of the record was to take things as harsh and as physical as I could make it.

“The reason for going there was that these are the sounds that make me the happiest in the world.”

'The Boxer' is due to be released on June 21.
