Sir Paul McCartney 'Moves In With Girlfriend Nancy Shevell'October 20, 2008
Sir Paul McCartney has asked girlfriend Nancy Shevell to move into his house in Peamarsh, East Sussex, according to reports.
The former Beatle, who divorced ex-wife Heather Mills earlier this year, is understood to have consulted his children before making the decision. According to the Sun newspaper, one of Sir Paul's daughters, Stella, has backed her father's decision – but told him not to rush into marriage. “Paul and Nancy are as solid a couple as you can get after just a short time together,” a source told the newspaper. “She always seemed to be at Peasmarsh anyway so it made sense to him just to ask her to move in. She’ll still travel between here and America but is setting up home with Paul.” The couple have been almost inseparable since the former Beatle's divorce from second wife Heather Mills was finalised in May. Recently, the pair travelled on a road trip together along America's Route 66, posing for pictures with Beatles fans during the holiday. Shevell is an old friend of Sir Paul and his first wife, Linda McCartney, who died in 1998 following a battle with cancer.
