Enter Shikari Recording 'Homemade' Second Album

June 19, 2008
Enter Shikari Recording 'Homemade' Second AlbumEnter Shikari have begun recording the follow-up to their top-five debut album 'Take To The Skies'.

Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, singer Rou Reynolds said the as-yet-untitled record is being assembled in a bungalow at the bottom of bassist Chris Batten's garden.

“We've basically inhabited that and we just sit in there and play guitar and muck about,” he said.

When asked what fans could expect from the record, Reynolds said that the group have “five or six songs on the go at the moment.”

"We used to say this album will be much more extreme and in your face but it's going in all directions,” he said.

"I brought out my trumpet from underneath my bed, it's literally been under there for about five years with cobwebs all over it.

"I gave it a blast and hopefully it will be in the record somewhere."

Enter Shikari will take to the road across the UK later this year.
