McFly To Give Album Away For FreeJune 25, 2008
McFly are set to target their next album at Middle England by giving it away free with the Mail On Sunday.
Entitled 'Radio:ACTIVE', the album will be available with the newspapers July 20 edition. Speaking to the BBC singer Tom Fletcher said the band were trying to reach a new audience with the release away from their typical teen fanbase. He explained: “We get to put it into almost three million homes, which is an incredible opportunity for us. "Hopefully the three million people will all enjoy the music and they'll decide to see us when we go on tour." The band recently started their own label, Super Records, who will release the album conventionally in September. (by Daniel Melia) See also: McFly Added To V Festival Line-Up (04.08.2009)
