Mercury Music Prize 2008: Burial, Elbow, Radiohead Are Bookies FavouritesSeptember 9, 2008
Burial, Elbow and Radiohead are amongst the bookies favourites to walk away with the Mercury Music Prize in London later.
Burial, who was recently unmasked as Will Bevan, is 4/6 favourite to win the award, while Elbow and Radiohead are at 5/1 and 7/1 respectively. The Last Shadow Puppets, the side-project of Alex Turner and Miles Kane and an early favourite to win the prize for their, have dropped to 14/1 for the award.
