Janet Jackson Hospitalised With 'Sudden Illness'

Janet Jackson is being treated in hospital after being taken ill just moments before a concert in Montreal.

A statement from the singer's publicist said Jackson “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to a nearby medical facility.

She is being monitored by doctors but the statement failed to specify the singer's condition.

Jackson is currently touring North America in support of her new album, 'Discipline'. She is being supported by LL Cool J.
