Nominees Announced For Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Nominees have been announced for this year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions and include Metallica, Run DMC and The Stooges.

Other nominees are Jeff Beck, Bobby Womack, Wanda Jackson, War, Little Anthony and the Imperials, and Chic, who were also on last year’s ballot.

The ceremony, which is typically held in New York, will return back to Cleveland for the first time in a decade according to The Associated Press.

The five acts with the most votes will be announced in January and inducted on April 4, 2009.
