Kylie Minogue Kicks Off 2008 World Tour In ParisMay 7, 2008
Kylie Minogue kicked of her 2008 world tour last night (May 6th) with a sold out show in Paris.
Performing at the city’s Bercy Stadium, Minogue played a 28-song set which was packed full of her hits. The singer also played a number of new songs from her latest album, ‘X’, which was released last year. Despite a huge promotional campaign, the album has failed the capture the success of her previous efforts, particularly in America. As previously reported, Minogue was made a Knight by the French Government “contribution to the enrichment of French culture” during a ceremony on Monday (May 5th).
