The estate of Michael Jackson has settled out of court with the Heal The World Foundation (HTWF).

Jackson's legal team took action against HTWF in 2009, claiming that it was attempting to associate itself with the late singer's former charity of the same name by using his likeness and image.

The foundation argued that Jackson's lawyers had granted it permission to run in 2005, but it has now been told it came no longer use the name, reports BBC News.

Jackson established the Health The World foundation in 1992 but was forced to abandon the venture when he faced child abuse allegations.
