Justin Bieber Beats Michael Jackson's Box-Office RecordMarch 21, 2011
Justin Bieber's 'Never Say Never' has become the most successful concert-themed film domestically.
The 3D documentary film, released in February, has already grossed an estimated $72.2 million compared to the $72.1 million brought in by 'This Is It' in 2009, reports The Hollywood Reporter. 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' tells the story of the teenage singer's rise to fame, with home video footage of the 17-year-old and clips from his 2010 'My World' tour. Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' is, however still took a total of $189.1 million worldwide, while 'Never Say Never' currently stands at only $10.8 million internationally. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber fans prompted police to close a road in Liverpool last week (March 10) as they tried to catch a glimpse of the star.
