Damon Albarn has revealed that Blur are planning to get back together again in January.

The group, who reunited last year, met up last week to discuss the possibility of collaborating again.

"We did talk about doing something in January, something small, no career-based world domination ideas," Albarn told Sky News.

Blur's reunion in 2009 won widespread critical acclaim and included a headlining appearance at the Glastonbury festival.

Albarn is currently in the middle of Gorillaz' UK tour. The band are due to play the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday (November 16).
