Drugs officers investigating Michael Jackson's death have raided the Houston clinic of his former doctor for evidence of manslaughter. A team of 20 officers from the Drugs Enforcement Agency and two robbery-homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police took part in the sweep at the Armstrong Medical Clinic this morning. 
P Diddy has posted a picture of himself and Michael Jackson on his Twitter page. The “never before seen” photograph shows Jackson with his arm around the rapper. It's not clear when the image was taken. 
U2 and Metallica are among the acts set to take part in concerts celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder and Eric Clapton will also feature at the gigs at New York's Madison Square Garden on October 29 and 30. 
Amy Winehouse has arrived in court in London to face a charge of assaulting a woman at a charity gig last September. The singer, who has only recently returned from the Caribbean, was flanked by her father, Mitch, outside the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court this morning. 
Glasvegas frontman James Allan has revealed the band plan to record their second album in America. The singer said he had already written the lyrics to the follow-up to their Mercury Prize nominated self-entitled 2008 debut album. 
Oasis are taking legal advice over news articles which claimed singer Liam Gallagher had stormed off stage during a recent London gig. Various media outlets suggested Gallagher had “stormed out of” the band's show at the Roundhouse on Tuesday. 
Michael Jackson's suspected secret son would be welcomed into the singer's family if it is proved the singer is his father, Jermaine Jackson has said. Omer Bhatti, 25, is reported to want a DNA test amid reports Jackson had told friends he was born following a one-night stand in Oslo in 1984. 
Madonna is to release a greatest hits compilation entitled 'Celebration'. The singer's first career retrospective will be available on both single disc and double-CD from September 28. 
Ian Brown has been added to the line up for next month's Reading and Leeds festivals. The former Stone Roses frontman will play on the main stage on Friday (August 28) in Leeds and Saturday (August 29) in Reading. 
Jack White has said download culture has made obtaining music an unromantic experience for fans. The White Stripes and Dead Weather star said he didn't believe that illegal downloading was only detrimental to the artist. 
Former Clash guitarist Mick Jones has opened a rock'n'roll museum in London. The exhibition in Portobello Green, which is close to where the punk band formed, contains 10,000 items from Jones's personal collection. 
Amy Winehouse deliberately assaulted a female fan who had asked to have her picture taken with the singer, a court has heard. Sherene Flash claims Winehouse hit her backstage at the Summer Ball in Berkeley Square, London last September. 
Blur have no plans to return to the studio to work on new material following their reunion, bassist Alex James has said. The Britpop band had been widely expected to work on new songs following a string of successful comeback shows, which included a headlining performance at Glastonbury.
