Bon Jovi 'Furious' After Lady Gaga And U2 Keep Them Off Rich ListJuly 26, 2010
Bon Jovi's frontman Jon Bon Jovi was left furious after the band failed to make Forbes' recent top celebrity lists.
In June, the singer was left off the Power 100, which was topped by Oprah Winfrey, while the band also missed out on the Music Rich List. The New York Post reports that Bon Jovi “kicked up a huge fuss and got his people to complain” about the standings. “He couldn't understand why he didn't make the musicians list since Bon Jovi has been touring nonstop since February,” a source added. The Music Rich List was topped by U2, who earned $130million for the year up to June 2010. AC/DC, Lady Gaga and Madonna also made the countdown. But a spokesperson for the band said they didn't expect to make the countdown because they took an eight month break from touring. Bon Jovi recently compelted a 12-night residency at London's O2 Arena. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora 'To Check Into Rehab' (28.04.2011)
