Slayer have rescheduled their twice-postponed UK tour dates for May and June.

The heavy metal titans postponed the dates both last November and this March due to bassist/vocalist Tom Araya's ongoing back problems.

The rocker is undergoing surgery later this month and doctors have advised him that he will have recovered by the end of spring.

All original tickets for the postponed dates remain valid. They play:

• Leeds O2 Academy – May 26
• Glasgow Barrowlands – 27
• Birmingham O2 Academy – 29
• Manchester O2 Academy – 30
• Nottingham Rock City – 31
• London HMV Forum - June 2/3
