Reese Witherspoon: 'I Will Buy Joaquin Phoenix's Rap Album'April 2, 2009
Actress Reese Witherspoon says she will buy her Walk The Line co-star Joaquin Phoenix's rap album when it's released.
Phoenix, of course, has made a string of bizarre public appearances since he quit acting for hip-hop, including two nightclub performances, the last of which ended with an angry confrontation with a heckler in Miami, Florida on March 11. Phoenix has revealed it was his role as Johnny Cash in the 2005 movie which inspired him to learn the guitar and set him on the road to pursue a music career. And Witherspoon is all for the transformation, telling Empire, "He's very musical obviously. He knows what he's doing. “I'm not following his rap career but I'm sure his album, whenever it hits the stores, whenever it 'drops', I'm going to go pick it up."
