Mumford & Sons Get Their Own Spoof Tribute Band... Sonford & MumsMarch 3, 2010
Forget selling out two nights at Shepherds Bush Empire, Mumford & Sons have now well and truly made it with the formation of their very own spoof tribute band.
The fetchingly titled Sonford & Mums have penned a song called 'Winter Chins' – a play on Mumford's very own 'Winter Winds' get it?! - which they premiered on Youtube last month. The music video itself, which you can watch below, is also a direct parody of Mumford's promo which sees them run around woods and things. The 'Winter Chins' lyrics read: When the Winter wind blows against my chin, How the girls said "blast", and the lads all cheered "you're a man at last", Years of no moustache filled the hourglass, And the girls said "blast", and the lads all cheered "you're a man at last!" See if you can tell the difference below: (by Scott Colothan) See also: Mumford & Sons To Involve Fans In New Album (18.03.2011)
