Mumford & Sons Get Their Own Spoof Tribute Band... Sonford & Mums

March 3, 2010
Mumford & Sons Get Their Own Spoof Tribute Band... Sonford & MumsForget selling out two nights at Shepherds Bush Empire, Mumford & Sons have now well and truly made it with the formation of their very own spoof tribute band.

The fetchingly titled Sonford & Mums have penned a song called 'Winter Chins' – a play on Mumford's very own 'Winter Winds' get it?! - which they premiered on Youtube last month.

The music video itself, which you can watch below, is also a direct parody of Mumford's promo which sees them run around woods and things.

The 'Winter Chins' lyrics read:

When the Winter wind blows against my chin,
I cannot forget what my father said...

How the girls said "blast", and the lads all cheered "you're a man at last",
When they saw my beard... in the morning.

Years of no moustache filled the hourglass,
Now my time has come, I'm my father's son

And the girls said "blast", and the lads all cheered "you're a man at last!"
When they saw my beard... in the morning.

See if you can tell the difference below:
