Foo Fighters Begin Work On New AlbumMarch 8, 2010
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has revealed that the band have begun work on their seventh studio album.
Grohl said the band had recently started writing the follow-up to 2007's 'Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace'. "Foo Fighters have just started writing and we're going to start recording in September so life is full of music," he told BBC 6 Music. The news comes just weeks after the singer revealed he was also working on a new record with Them Crooked Vultures. Grohl's side-project, in which he plays drums, also features Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age and Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones. The group are set to perform at London's Royal Albert Hall later this month as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust gig series.
