Kylie Minogue’s forthcoming world tour, which begins in Paris on May 6th, will cost upwards of £10million to stage, organisers have revealed.

The tour, which includes shows in Greece, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Luxembourg, Russia, Latvia and Spain, has already taken over half a million pounds in ticket sales.

The shows will be Minogue’s first major tour since she made a full recovery from Breast cancer.

The singer was diagnosed with the disease in 2005 while touring in Australia.

KylieX2008 opens in the UK in June with a four night residency at the Belfast Odyssey Arena beginning on June 26th.

Residencies in Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester will follow, with the tour concluding with a seven night run at the O2 Arena in London at the end of July.
