Johnny Marr Says 'Nothing Ever Over' Following Cribs Departure

Johnny Marr Says 'Nothing Ever Over' Following Cribs DepartureJohnny Marr has hinted that he may work with The Cribs again following his departure from the group.

On Monday (April 11), the former Smiths guitarist announced that he had left the Wakefield band to focus on his own solo work.

But responding to fans' reaction to his departure on Twitter, Marr, formerly also part of Modest Mouse, said he didn't consider that his future with the group was over.

"Thank You to everybody for all the best wishes to me and The Fellas," he wrote. "More good things to come from us all."

When told by a user that he should rejoin The Cribs again, Marr replied: "Thanks. Nothing is ever over for me. Same with Modest Mouse."
