The Holloways Split Up After Two Albums

April 7, 2011
The Holloways Split Up After Two AlbumsThe Holloways have announced that they are to split up after releasing two albums.

The band, fronted by Alfie Jackson, will play their last-ever gig at The Garage in London on May 23.

In a message on Facebook, they said: "As many of you will know we have had a few problems through the years.

"Fires burning all our stuff down. Labels going Bust, friends leaving the band to name but a few. This has left us deciding to call it a day."

The Holloways will also support Chas n' Dave at London's IndigO2 on April 18.

In a statement, Jackson said he hoped the performance with one of their main influences would help them "leave on a high".

Tickets for both gigs are on sale now.
