Bee Gees Robin Gibb Hospitalised With Abdominal Pains

April 5, 2011
Bee Gees Robin Gibb Hospitalised With Abdominal PainsBee Gees star Robin Gibb has been taken to hospital with abdominal pains, his spokesperson has confirmed.

The singer fell ill on Sunday and has pulled out of a series of gigs due to take place this month in Brazil.

His spookesman told BBC News: "We are not sure what's wrong with him at this stage and are worried."

Gibb underwent surgery for a blocked intestine last year but had returned to good health following the operation.

"We don't know if it is a recurrence of the previous problem or if it is something else entirely," his spokesman added.

In 2003, his twin brother Maurice died after complications from a twisted intestine.
