Lily Allen has launched a new blog and used the website to show off her engagement ring.

The singer, who got engaged to boyfriend Sam Cooper over Christmas, created lilyroseallenblog.blogspot.com last night (January 10).

Allen has so far been using the website to showcase dresses from her shop, Lucy In Disguise.

But it is not clear whether the singer will move the blog after a number of her Twitter followers advised her to use a different blogging platform.

In her last post on Twitter, she said: “I'm going for dinner but when I get back I'm gonna set a Tumblr up.”

Allen's engagement comes just months after the singer lost a baby she was expecting with Cooper six months into her pregnancy.
