Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has been working with country singer Faith Hill, her husband has revealed.

Tim McGraw said his wife met Martin after he starred alongside the singer's wife Gwyneth Paltrow in new movie, Country Strong.

"My wife is a huge Coldplay fan, and they spent a lot of time writing songs," McGraw said during an appearance on US chat show Chelsea Lately.

“I don't want to start any rumours or anything, but I ain't heard any songs yet.”

Meanwhile, Coldplay are currently putting the finishing touches to their new album, which is due to be released later this year.
