![]() The singer retained the top spot with ‘Only Girl (In The World)’, meaning the boy band, who recently reunited with Robbie Williams, had to settle for number two. McFly scored their fifteenth top-5 hit with ‘Shine A Light’, while Adele’s ‘Make You Feel My Love’ re-entered the top-10 following its appearance on The X Factor. Meanwhile, in the album chart, Susan Boyle was a new entry at number one with ‘The Gift’, according to the Official Charts Company. The former Britain’s Got Talent star’s second effort features a cover of Lou Reed’s ‘Perfect Day’ and Christmas carol ‘Away In A Manager’. Official Charts Company managing director Martin Talbot said: “It is a great achievement by Susan Boyle, who has now scored two Official number one albums in the UK in less than 12 months – not bad for someone who was unknown outside of her home village little over 18 months ago.” James Blunt was a new entry at number four with ‘Some Kind Of Trouble’, while ‘The Lady Killer’ by Cee Lo Green was a new entry at number ten.
