Rihanna has revealed that she wants to go on tour with Katy Perry and confirmed that the pair are recording together.

Rihanna said she and Perry were working on new material, but denied reports it would appear on her forthcoming album, 'Loud'.

"No, but we're actually working on some music together ... hell yeah," she told MTV News.

"I would love to tour with Katy. She's a rock star. And when I see her live, she just brings such a fun [vibe], like a colorful rock star.”

Rihanna added: “That's the sh*t that just makes you excited when you see her perform. She's beautiful, but then she rocks out."

'Loud', due out on November 22, includes collaborations with Drake and Eminem.

Meanwhile, Perry is set to embark on a UK and Ireland tour next year.
