Manic Street Preachers' Nicky Wire Writing Doctor Who ScriptJuly 23, 2010
Manic Street Preachers bassist Nicky Wire has revealed that he’s writing a script for Doctor Who.
Wire said the script was based on the Welsh poet and writer Dylan Thomas, who died in 1953. On a completely different tip, I’ve been trying to write a script for Doctor Who called Do Not Go Gently,” he wrote on manicstreetpreachers.com. “The idea is centred around Dylan Thomas’ last days in New York. Of course it’s going to have a massive ****ing monster in it too.” As previously reported, Manic Street Preachers are set to play a one-off secret show in London next month. It will mark the launch of their new album 'Postcards From A Young Man', which is released in September. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Manic Street Preachers To Play iTunes Festival 2011 (14.04.2011)
