Katy Perry Used Wikipedia To Fix Up Snoop Dogg CollaborationJune 29, 2010
Katy Perry has admitted that she used Wikipedia to select which rapper should feature on her new single 'California Gurls'.
The singer said that she wanted a hip-hop star who was still “relevant” - and that it was clear that she should chose Snoop Dogg. "He did 'Drop It Like It's Hot' a couple years ago, he did 'Sexual Seduction' - he's still Mr. 'Gin and Juice', I mean he doesn't age,” she told Canadian radio station Kiss. “He's the Doggfather." 'California Gurls' is currently number one on the UK and US charts, and is the first track from Perry's new album 'Teenage Dream'. The follow-up to 2008's 'One For The Boys' is due to be released in August. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Katy Perry, Kanye West Perform 'ET' On American Idol (22.04.2011)
