Fans of Michael Jackson will be given limited access to the Los Angeles cemetery where he was laid to rest.

Visitors to Forest Lawn will be able to pay their respects on the first anniversary of the star’s death on June 25.

However, fans will not be allowed into the mausoleum where Jackson's body is interred.

The cemetery is also working with Jackson’s family to organise a commemoration, according to the BBC.

The singer’s death last June was ruled as homicide. He was buried in September.

Jackson’s personal physician Dr Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter charges in connection with the singer’s death.
