February 16, 2010
Lady GaGa Unveils 'Marge Simpson Hair' At BRIT AwardsLady GaGa turned heads as she arrived on the red carpet ahead of tonight's BRIT Awards in London.

The singer showcased a seemingly Marge Simpson-inspired hairpiece, while fellow nominee Lily Allen was more understated.

Both singers lead a charge of female acts, including Pixie Lott and Florence & the Machine, with three nominations each.

Allen, Florence & the Machine are in the running for Best British Album, while Lott joins them in the Best British Female category.

Lady GaGa, meanwhile, is nominated for International Female, International Album and International Breakthrough Act.

Elsewhere, the Best British Male category sees veteran Robbie Williams up against Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris, Mika and Paolo Nutini.

Williams, who is also due to collect the Lifetime Achievement Award and perform at the ceremony, is favourite with the bookmakers.

Muse, Kasabian, Doves, Friendly Fires and JLS are in the running for Best British Group.

The ceremony at Earls Court is expected to be a star-studded affair, with Jay-Z, Lady GaGa and Cheryl Cole all set to perform.

Hosted by comedian Peter Kay, the BRIT awards will be broadcast live on ITV1 from 8pm.
