Rumoured celebrity couple Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan are making sweet music together. Oh yes.

Photographer friend Kristin Burns uploaded a photograph onto Twitter yesterday of the couple in the recording studio, writing: “in the studio snap of @jessicasimpson and @billy working on a song...”

Typically gushing of her Smashing Pumpkin friend, Simpson re-tweeted it and added: “He braids my prayers.”

She earlier tweeted about the photo, which has conveniently been removed from Twitter as we write this, “I am blessed.”

Perhaps indicative of Corgan's rock influence, on Saturday Simpson wrote: "Happy Birthday Jimmy Page!! You have always been one of my favorites :)”

We await the results of their collaboration with a due sense of trepidation and dread.
