To celebrate the release of their brand-spanking new album 'Contra', Vampire Weekend are playing an intimate in-store set at London's Rough Trade East next Friday (January 15).

Fans of the New Yorkers who buy the record at the store from 8am on Monday will be given a free wristband to the show. These will be strictly limited to one per person.

If any wristbands remain on Friday, these will be given out one hour prior to stage time (6.45pm) on a first come first served basis.

This will be the first time Vampire Weekend have played Rough Trade East. They were due to perform there in February 2008 but were forced to cancel after drummer Chris Tomson was involved in a car accident.
