Kanye West has spoken about an episode of South Park which portrayed the rapper as a gay fish.

West said he felt like he had been “murdered” by the cartoon, but admitted he found it “pretty funny”.

The episode, entitled Fish Sticks, focussed on a joke about fish fingers that everyone in the world- except West - found funny.

Throughout the episode, the rapper’s character became more frustrated at being unable to grasp the punch line.

Writing on his blog, West said he was “working on my ego”, adding: "I just wanna be a doper person without telling people how dope I think I am."

But the rapper said in a later post that the South Park episode had not triggered his “ego epiphany”.

"I actually only watched a piece of the episode, which was funny,” he continued.

“I've been working on myself for a while now, which is hard to do in the public eye. I just used [this blog] as a platform to express where my head is at."

West has been dogged by reports over recent months which claim he "dresses gay".
