As previously reported, speculation is rife that the former Hollywood actor's foray into rap music is an elaborate hoax, but Joaquin has once again quashed these claims.

The 34-year-old explains to Associated Press that he's not the type of person to go back on his word, saying: "I'm not one of those people, like, when I break up with my girlfriend, I don't ever see her again. I see her as friends, but do I ever think about getting back together? No, when I do something, I do it. So I have no intention."

Enthusing about the his genre of choice, the bearded star continued: "I love the storytelling aspects of hip-hop, but I love the word play, as well. I just think the rhyming is fantastic, and I love, like, the raw emotion of it."
