Courtney Love: 'I Am Not Suicidal'November 18, 2008
Courtney Love has denied internet claims that she has been feeling suicidal.
On Monday (November 17th), celebrity blogger Perez Hilton claimed Love had written 60 "incoherent" posts on her MySpace blog in the space of 24 hours. The website also suggested that Love mentioned in one of the posts that she was suicidal. Responding to the website's claims, Love wrote: "No I am not suicidal, occasionally very occasionally, like all of us I get depressed, and that was over a year ago and I had a mini little depression attack well (a) big one... “I dont know quite why it happened but I find that mediciation (sic) is not the answer to this." Love, the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, also hit out at Hilton's reference to her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. She wrote: "PLEASE leave my kid out of it, when I make a technical booboo or get a little whacky when she's at a movie, (it's) my problem. "Basically I'm off blogging because you've upset my kid and embarrassed her and so have I. “So (I've) apoligised (sic) to her I hope you will too." Perez Hilton has since published Love's response on its own website. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Courtney Love 'Wanted To Snort Kurt Cobain's Ashes' (16.03.2011)
