Kylie Minogue 'To Host 2009 Brit Awards With Gavin & Stacey Stars'November 17, 2008
Kylie Minogue will host the 2009 Brit Awards at London's Earls Court, according to reports.
The singer is said to be close to agreeing a deal which will see her unite with Gavin & Stacey stars Mathew Horne and James Corden. "Kylie's been in lengthy talks with organisers of the 2009 show and the last-minute details are being finalised," a source told the Mirror newspaper. "She's the icing on the cake of what promises to be the best show ever.” As previously reported, the Pet Shop Boys will receive the lifetime achievement award at the ceremony on February 18th. Minogue closed the South American leg of her X2008 world tour with a show in Buenos Aires last weekend. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Kylie Minogue Extends 2011 UK And Ireland Tour (26.11.2010)
