AC/DC To Hit The Road On 18 Month World TourJuly 29, 2008
AC/DC will embark on an 18-month world tour later this year, it's been confirmed.
The band's agent, Rob Light, made the announcement at Intl. Assn. of Assembly Managers' conference and trade show yesterday (July 28th). He said the tour, the band's first since 2000, would support the release of their new album, which will be available exclusively in Wal-Mart stores. AC/DC are expected to precede the album with the release of a new single next month. Light also revealed yesterday that Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus and KISS are expected to go on the road later this year. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Susan Boyle: I Want To Duet With AC/DC (17.12.2010)
