Amy Winehouse has been accused of hitting a man three times in a put in North London. The incident is said to have happened in Camden on Saturday (July 5th), just a day after Winehouse performed to festival crowds in Spain. 
Gnarls Barkley covered Radiohead's 'The Reckoner' during an intimate show in London last night, which was filmed for a future DVD release. The soul duo, which consists of Cee-Lo Brown and producer Danger Mouse, drew crowds of all ages to the capital's Astoria 2 venue. 
Pete Doherty is apparently keen to rekindle his relationship with Kate Moss following her reported split from Kills frontman Jamie Hince. Doherty is said to have begun sending text messages to the supermodel, whom he dated for nearly 18-months, last week amid reports that Moss's relationship with Hince was collapsing. 
Dirty Pretty Things frontman Carl Barat says he plans to ask comedian Russell Brand to help him cut down on his drinking. Barat, who was recently diagnosed with acute pancreatitis, has been told he can't drink for three months. 
The Streets have debuted four songs from their forthcoming album on their Myspace page. Snippets of the tracks - 'The Escapist', 'The Way Of The Dodo', 'The Sherry End' and 'On The Flip Of A Coin' – all appear in a short medley entitled 'The New Album Deep'. 
Amy Winehouse sparked fresh fears last night (July 8th) when she emerged from a pub in North London with a bloodied hand. The singer was escorted from the Good Mixer in Camden by one of her minders following an evening of drinking. 
An album recorded with Jimi Hendrix, which has been lost for over thirty years, is to finally get released, it's been reported. The unnamed record was recorded with Crosby, Stills and Nash star Stephen Stills and is being readied for release by Graham Nash, his former bandmate. 
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has defended celebrities who choose to give their children unusual names. Martin, whose own children with Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow are called Apple and Moses, said “a name is just a noise”. 
Panic At The Disco say their new album has helped to distance them from the emo genre. Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, the band said that 'Pretty. Odd.', which was released earlier this year, had stopped many journalists from asking them about emo.

Metallica's long-awaited new album 'Death Magnetic' will be available via a number of different packages, it's been announced. The new album, which is due out in September, is the band's first full studio release since 2003's 'St Anger'. 
US rapper Lil' Wayne has returned to the top of the US Billboard album chart with 'Tha Carter III'. The rapper's sixth album has exchanged places with Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends', which falls to number two. 
Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder has reportedly given a reward to a fan who found his girlfriends mobile phone on the backseat of a New York taxi. The unnamed fan discovered the phone, which contained private pictures of Vedder, his girlfriend and their family, last week.
